Founded in 2002 to fund international cultural exchange, Friends Forever's work has grown into a full spectrum of cultural programming: public festivals, performing arts, arts education, and the preservation of traditional cultural heritage.
Though its roots reach back to ancient traditions, this is a living spiritual culture embraced by artists and audiences the world over — many of them from the West — who have made it their own. We present it not as the heritage of any one nation or religion, but as a shared human language of music, art and wellbeing.

Our programs have been presented across the USA, Poland, Brazil, Australia, the UK, Macedonia, Ireland, India and China — introducing audiences to traditional music, dance, theatre, wellness and intercultural appreciation.
Friends Forever was established in 2002 to fund and sustain the international cultural group Festival of India, sharing a timeless spiritual culture of music, dance and theatre to promote world peace. Working with Viva Kultura in Poland, that partnership grew the festival into one of the largest free cultural events in the region.
Over the years, the work expanded — the Sadhu Sanga Kirtan Retreat in the United States, the Rishikesh Kirtan Fest in India with the Sacred Seva Foundation, touring theatre, book publishing and community food programs. Through it all, the purpose has stayed the same: bringing people together through culture.
Friends Forever prints and distributes Diary of a Traveling Monk, the travel writings of Indradyumna Swami — vivid chronicles of decades spent crossing continents to share music, theatre, festivals and culture with people of every background.
Indradyumna Swami is the visionary and guiding inspiration behind Friends Forever. His lifelong dream of uniting the world through the beauty of spiritual culture is the founding idea this organization was created to carry forward.
